Three weeks from tomorrow we will
finally get to meet Baby Girl! In lots of ways this pregnancy has flown by. But lately it seems to be c-r-a-w-l-i-n-g. I think it's a combination of worries about my health, her health, the horrific heat and the normal end-of-pregnancy discomforts. On that note, my platelet levels were 93 last week, which is great news. Thank God for answered prayers, and we'll just keep praying they stay that way. Monday we had our Prepare Visit at the hospital. I think Adam and I both left thinking, "whoa, this baby is really coming!" And now my mind is constantly racing with lists of things to do before she gets here. Baby Girl's impending arrival has definitely got my crafty juices flowing also. We may not have a crib or unpacked any of the "baby" stuff from the attic but we do have some cute outfits and hairbows. You have to have priorities in life, right!?

As if I wasn't anxious enough for Baby Girl to be born, my friend Traci
finally had her baby on Friday! We went over today to meet Baby Finn. He is super sweet and super snuggly. And Abi was absolutely in love. Watching her love on him made my heart melt. She wanted to hold him the whole time and couldn't stop kissing him. She loved giving him his paci and tried to soothe him when he cried.

We got Harper and Hadley each a balloon to take over along with all the goodies for Baby Finn. So, of course, Abi had to get a balloon too. They were a big hit all around!

Just ignore the fact that she's naked.
Between the heat and potty training attempts, this girl is naked most of the time anymore. |
Here are a couple random ones from this week. I hate that we haven't been able to play outside very much this summer. It's just so stinking hot! And now our summer is pretty much over because Adam goes back to school Friday. I guess it's back to the real world.
