First Solo Outing

Today I made my first trip outside the house with the girls on my own. Our pediatrician recommended we not take Madelyn out unless necessary for the first four weeks. And he made me paranoid by telling me about all the nasty kid sickness going around right now. So we've been trying really hard to keep her quarantined. And since I'm Madelyn's food source and she eats every couple hours that usually means I'm stuck in the house too. But after two weeks it would be an understatement to say I'm stir crazy. Abi was definitely starting to show the signs of cabin fever too. So I thought a field trip to Donner for a picnic and playing would be fairly safe since Madelyn could just stay in her seat the whole time. It was just what we needed! We ate our lunch in the shade and Abi loved watching the squirrels (eewww), the bike riders and dogs being walked. And of course she got in her playground time too.

so glad to be out of the house!
True to form, Miss Madelyn never even opened her eyes the whole time
we were at the park.
