As usual, Easter was a whirlwind of chocolate, egg hunts, family and missed nap times. We are beyond blessed to have so much family to celebrate The Resurrection of Our Lord with. But shew, it’s exhausting. And the poopy diapers after a weekend of too much candy…..less than pleasant. This year Abi had a blast hunting for Easter eggs and opening her baskets. Which is good because she did it four times. Both the girls were champs about going here and there and everywhere. And they made out like bandits.

The Easter Bunny brought both girls some books. Abi also got a bubble gun, sidewalk chalk,
silly putty and new crayons. Madi got some new sippy cups, sunglasses and a chew toy.
(The Easter Bunny got a little carried away this year. I blame it on Spring Fever.) |

Showing off her new shades. I mean, seriously, you can't look at that face and not smile.
I'm referring to Madi, of course. Not Mike. :) |

And this is what happens when you leave two 2 year olds alone with their Easter baskets. |
